On May 8th Studio 2055 was a sponsor of the San Diego AMA 17th annual Cause Conference. The Studio raffled a $500 consultation and Susan Webster of Pacific Cancer Fitness (PCF) was the recipient.
Studio 2055 is thrilled to partner with Susan in collaborating with the creation of her story for her crowd source-funding program. Susan hopes to use the funding that she receives to create a new and more efficient website, salaries for class instructors and educational speakers.
Who is Pacific Cancer Fitness
Pacific Cancer Fitness supports cancer patients and survivors to improve their health through education, nutrition, fitness and community. Susan herself is a cancer survivor, and understands what PCF’s clients have and will go through. After her battle with cancer, Susan later became certified Cancer Fitness Specialist. Through exercise PCF helps cancer patients fight side effects with exercise and those that are finished with their treatment back to health.
According to the American Cancer Society, it was estimated that in 2014, there would be over 150,000 Californians diagnosed with cancer. Of those diagnosed about 105,000 will still be alive five years from now. Susan has made it her mission to help those that are affected by cancer live healthier lives.
